Brightt is a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) registered provider that provides Behaviour Therapy and other Therapy services. We are a small business that is growing and provides support to people with behavioural support needs across South Australia, Queensland, Victoria and Northern Territory.
The Role
The Executive Manager, Corporate, reporting directly to the Managing Director, will work with the Managing Director and the Business Manager to ensure that Brightt is able to deliver our services successfully and efficiently.
The Executive Manager, Corporate has management responsibility for supplier and partnership arrangements ensuring Brightt’s business and service partnerships and stakeholder contracts are appropriately framed to ensure the following principles:
• Service level agreements are in place
• Value for money is obtained
• Brightt’s mission, values and goals are not compromised
• Compliance with funding service contract obligations
• Where relevant mutual program, service and business benefits are identified
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities’ values and interests are promoted
Internally, the Executive Manager, Corporate is responsible for ensuring the efficient day to day operations of the business, including:
• Ensuring daily processing of fee invoicing and debtor collection is up to date
• Management of administration staff and provide assistance to Team Leaders of clinical staff
• Identification and recommendation of appropriate suppliers
• Management of Brightt’s physical offices and administrative costs
The Successful Candidate
• Relevant qualifications, which must include Bachelor Degree or Graduate Diploma of either Business Administration; Commerce; Human Resources or other relevant field.
• Demonstrated experience in managing contracts, financial and program reporting, budget and business planning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are paramount.
• Demonstrated people and team management experience.
Essential Criteria
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Ability to build strong partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, service providers and government departments.
• Capacity to work independently and exercise sound judgement, whilst being a good team player
• Experience in working within a community development or other consultative framework would add value
• An understanding of the health and community service system to support people at risk of suicide and build resilience amongst individuals, families and communities would be desirable
• A genuine commitment to act in accordance with service’s mission and values
• Experience in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities would be preferable.
• Commitment to comply with business policy and procedures, including NDIS code of conduct
Mandatory criteria
• Motor Vehicle Driver’s Licence
• Satisfactory National Police Record Check
• Satisfactory Working with Children Check
• Satisfactory NDIS worker clearance
• Ability to work in Australia, without restriction
Special Conditions
• This role is primarily office based and the successful candidate will be expected to attend the office in Adelaide on a regular basis but will be required to travel to other areas within Australia as required.
• Brightt will meet accommodation and travel expenses in accordance with business policies.
• As the program/service is required to respond to behavioural supports across Australia the incumbent is expected to be flexible and responsive with their availability to work and travel.
