About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to join our team at Dechra in Somersby, NSW. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for a variety of accounts duties, playing a key part by supporting the finance team across Australia and New Zealand.

What you'll be doing

Processing invoices and expenses, and ensuring accurate and timely payments

Managing accounts receivable, including invoicing, following up on outstanding payments, and reconciling accounts

Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and statements

Providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders

Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies

Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc projects and tasks as required

What we're looking for

Relevant experience as an Accounts Officer or in a similar finance/accounting role

Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills

Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications. previous experience with ERP's would be advantageous

Excellent communication and customer service skills

The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

A proactive and organised approach to your work
