We are currently seeking a proactive and well-rounded Office Administrator & Accounts Clerk to join the team at Convil Group, providing support to the Director and assisting with the day-to-day running of our business.

About the Role
This is a dynamic and varied full-time position ideal for someone who is highly organised, adaptable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for a broad range of administrative, accounting, and marketing tasks, while also providing essential support to our management team.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Executive Support
Provide administrative support to the Director and senior managers
Handle incoming calls, emails, filing, data entry, and document management
Coordinate meetings, manage calendars, and prepare correspondence
Maintain accurate records and an efficient filing system
Visit sites as required to capture project progress for documentation and marketing
Accounts & Finance
Process fortnightly payroll and manage accounts payable/receivable
Reconcile bank accounts, issue invoices, credit notes, and purchase orders
Assist with bookkeeping tasks, including cost allocation and supplier invoice processing
Support monthly reporting and liaise with company's senior finance team.
Procurement & Project Assistance
Coordinate ordering of materials and manage supplier quotations
Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, certifiers, and councils
Marketing & Social Media
Assist with marketing activities and support branding initiatives
Manage the company’s social media presence.
Create and publish content showcasing projects and company strengths
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring a mix of experience, skills, and professionalism. Ideally, you will have:
Experience in accounting and finance processes
Excellent organisational and planning skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Previous experience in construction or civil construction (preferred)
A high level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
An interest in marketing, innovation, and customer engagement
Confidence when dealing with consultants, certifiers, and councils
A professional and customer-focused attitude
Some IT knowledge (advantageous)
Must be located in Sydney and hold a valid NSW driver’s licence
