We're working exclusively with a fast-scaling, founder-led organisation that's revolutionising how professional service businesses transition into private ownership. Following success in the veterinary space, they’re launching a new sub-brand focused on smaller practice sales and need an entrepreneurial General Manager to lead it.

You’ll work side-by-side with the founder to launch a brand-new business unit, build its systems, hire the early team, and lay the foundations for expansion into new verticals such as dental and health.
This isn’t a job for a maintainer. It’s for a builder, an operator, a hands-on leader who knows how to take something from zero to scale.

Details:

• Remote role (AU-based, supporting North American expansion)
• up to $200,000 AUD Inc Super + $40,000 performance bonus
• Contractor engagement model: This role will be structured as an independent contractor agreement. We’re happy to talk you through the details including superannuation and invoicing considerations during the process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Launch and operationalise a new sub-brand in its first 90 days - including CRM, SOPs, team, marketing systems, and reporting
• Build the internal lead generation engine and manage lead-to-client workflows
• Hire and manage the first Sell Side Advisor and early-stage contractors
• Create scalable operating playbooks to support expansion into verticals like dental
• Track KPIs, lead appointment-setting campaigns, and manage performance cadences
• Collaborate with tech and marketing vendors to support growth

About You:

• Proven experience as a founding GM, COO, or Head of Growth in a startup or fast-moving environment
• Strong operational mindset - you’ve built SOPs, dashboards, and systems that scale
• Background in digital marketing, B2B demand generation or a marketing-led business
• Experienced leader comfortable hiring, managing and mentoring early teams
• Fast executor who thrives in ambiguity and builds structure from scratch
