Cafe Matteo is on the hunt for a passionate Cafe Manager and skilled all-rounders to join our growing team in the heart of Cairns.

About the Role – Cafe Manager:

We’re looking for an experienced leader with a proven background in similar fast-paced hospitality roles. You’ll work directly with the owner to help drive the continued development of an already thriving café. This is a long-term management opportunity for someone who takes pride in their team, thrives in organised chaos, and knows how to make a café run like clockwork.

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in a similar management or supervisory role

Strong leadership and people management skills

High level of organisation and attention to detail

Ability to work collaboratively with the owner

A genuine passion for food, coffee and service

Must be a local resident – no sponsorship available

We’re also looking for gun all-rounders who can jump on the machine, serve with a smile, and help keep the floor humming. You’ll be joining a tight-knit, energetic crew who love what they do.

All-Rounder Requirements:

Confident coffee-making skills

Ability to multi-task and thrive in a busy environment

Team player attitude and strong work ethic

Flexible availability, including weekends
