About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cafe Manager to lead the team at our T-Spoon Cafe' located in Jamisontown, NSW. As our Cafe Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the cafe's operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient workflow, and driving business growth. This is a full-time position based in our Jamisontown location.

What you'll be doing

Manage the day-to-day operations of the cafe, including scheduling staff, overseeing inventory and ordering, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation

Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive dining experience for all customers

Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, increase sales, and enhance the cafe's reputation

Manage and motivate a team of baristas, servers, and kitchen staff, providing training and support as needed

Monitor and analyse key performance indicators, making data-driven decisions to optimise the cafe's operations

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and food hygiene regulations

Collaborate with the wider business team to contribute to the overall success of the T-Spoon cafe' brand

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar cafe management role, with a proven track record of success

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to create a welcoming, engaging atmosphere

Strong financial acumen and the ability to analyse data to drive business decisions

Proficiency in inventory management, cost control, and budgeting

Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills

Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality products and services
