East Coast Electrical and Solar is a dynamic and growing electrical contracting business based in Maryborough, QLD. We’re a medium-sized team of 16, and we’re proud of our collaborative, professional, and down-to-earth culture. We’re now looking for a motivated and experienced Operations Manager to help drive the efficiency and performance of our team—with the potential to earn performance-based bonuses on top of your base salary.

This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys being in the thick of it—organising jobs, keeping systems tight, and ensuring the team is set up to deliver their best work, every day.

Key Responsibilities:

Scheduling and coordinating electrical and solar jobs across the team

Managing job workflows, invoicing, and ensuring system compliance

Monitoring and maintaining job management systems

Stock ordering and inventory management

Overseeing customer communication and satisfaction

Driving team productivity – ensuring hours are charged out effectively

Working closely with the director to support the smooth running of the business

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in a similar operations or project management role

Trade background highly regarded – electrical experience ideal but not essential

Strong organisational and time management skills

Confident using job management software and digital tools

Clear communicator with leadership capabilities

A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, supportive environment
