Public Sector People are partnering with a high-profile State government Department in Northgate to recruit an experienced AO5 Policy & Complaints Coordination Officer for a temporary contract position until June 2025!
The purpose of the role is to provide reliable coordination of policy development, document control, and customer complaints management, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery across projects. Your contribution will enhance the team’s operational effectiveness through clear communication, quality assurance, and proactive stakeholder collaboration.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Coordinate and support the development, review, and implementation of policies, procedures, and controlled documents
- Manage customer complaints processes, including tracking, reporting, and ensuring human rights considerations
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent, evidence-based policy outcomes
- Deliver quality assurance checks to ensure alignment with legislation and organisational standards
- Support communication and training initiatives related to policy changes and updates
About you:
- Demonstrated experience in policy coordination, compliance, or complaints management
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to balance competing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement abilities across multiple levels
- Commitment to ethical practice and continuous improvement
- Must be available immediately
Benefits:
- $66.86 - $72.55 per hour + Super
- Monday to Friday – 38 hours per week
