THE ROLE
As the Team Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting a busy Corporate Finance team of 22, including four Managing Directors and the Head of Corporate Finance. This role is varied, fast-paced and integral to the smooth daily operations of a high-performing team. You’ll manage complex calendars, coordinate national travel, prepare presentations, process expenses, book meetings and events, and handle general administrative tasks with precision and confidentiality.
The team operates in-office five days a week and is described as fast-paced, energetic and extremely collaborative. This role would suit a confident and capable Team Assistant who is proactive, driven and thrives in a structured, vibrant office culture!
DUTIES
- Manage complex calendars and coordinate meetings for senior executives
- Arrange national travel and handle last-minute changes when needed
- Prepare and format presentations, reports, and documentation
- Process and reconcile expenses for Managing Directors and Head of Corporate Finance
- Coordinate meeting rooms, catering, and internal team events
- Support onboarding of new team members, including IT and office setup
- Maintain accurate digital filing systems and handle confidential information
- Liaise across teams and act as the key point of contact for administrative support within Corporate Finance
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
In order to be successful in this role, you will be friendly, approachable and demonstrate a professional approach to work. You will have excellent attention to detail, strong time management skills and be able to efficiently prioritise tasks and thrive in a busy and challenging environment. To be considered for this role, you will possess the following:
- 3-5 years of experience in office administration
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong ability to prioritise tasks, work independently, and take initiative
- Confident and professional communicator, both written and verbal
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced corporate environment
- Relevant admin qualifications or secondary education is advantageous
- Experience in investment or corporate banking is highly regarded!
