ABOUT THE ROLE
If you’re a qualified and experienced Quantity Surveyor or Estimator (2-5 years) we have the role for you. Our client is a Brisbane-based builder and developer specialising in high-end, luxury residential homes. Operating across the greater Brisbane area.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a QS/Estimator you will be responsible for all QS work such as measurement, cost planning, etc. You will be working with a QS/Estimator Manager to ensure that timeframes and budgets are met. As a QS/Estimator you will be reporting to the Senior team.

DUTIES

• Manage construction costs from feasibility through to delivery
• Collaborate with Design Team, Contractors, Engineers, Financiers, Suppliers, Insurance underwriters, Solicitors, and Courts with all levels of Government Authorities
• Responsible for variations
• Conduct progress claims
• Measurements

ABOUT YOU

• Training in a QS or construction firm
• Experience with multi-res projects
• A degree or TAFE qualification in building
• Great communicator and negotiator
• Ability to meet deadlines and stay calm under pressure
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships
• Ability to resolve and handle conflict
• Flexibility and problem-solving skills
• Strong grasp of MS Office, including Project
