Position Summary
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by developing and managing key client relationships, identifying new market opportunities, and promoting Seeley International's product range. This role requires a strong understanding of the NSW air conditioning market, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relations:
- Develop and establish opportunities through dealers, installers, projects, builders, and specifiers to achieve product specification, supply agreements, and sales.
- Plan and implement call/cold call programs for various target customers.
- Maintain contact with all customers in accordance with a call plan and customer requirements.
- Establish and foster close relationships with new and existing customers to encourage sales and drive the development of key clients.
Business Development:
- Achieve NSW sales budgets for Seeley International.
- Monitor, track, pursue, and win key NSW customers.
- Investigate and develop new market opportunities.
- Identify opportunities for Seeley products to be specified into Government and other funded programs.
Advertising & Promotion:
- Assist and support Seeley to promote products through company-endorsed programs.
- Attend and work at trade shows, exhibitions, and product launches.
- Identify cost-effective opportunities for advertising and promotion.
Customer Service:
- Ensure that complaints are followed up and satisfactory solutions are obtained.
- Provide all Seeley customers with prompt and knowledgeable information regarding products.
Administration:
- Prepare regular reports and present/discuss them with management.
- Secure supply agreements, determine pricing, and communicate information to facilitate sales.
- Participate in regular sales meetings.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Strong and confident negotiator with the ability to negotiate at all levels
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
- Minimum 5 years air conditioning industry, sales and business development
- Creating sales of air conditioning products through a variety of market channels
- Business partnering relationship development in NSW.
