THE ROLE

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for securing project opportunities by working directly with Tier 1, 2, and 3 builders across Melbourne and greater Victoria. Once quotes are prepared and projects are won, you’ll pass on the orders to the company’s network of distributors to supply.

Your focus will be on relationship building, project tracking, and influencing specifications, working closely with both builders and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and manage relationships with Tier 1, 2 and 3 builders.

Identify project opportunities and secure quotes.

Collaborate with internal technical and sales support teams.

Pass orders to distribution partners for fulfilment.

Maintain and update your project pipeline through CRM tools.

Attend site visits and industry meetings as required.

ABOUT YOU

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to have experience working with builders and a strong understanding of how construction projects operate from early specification through to supply.

You will have:

Proven B2B sales or business development experience in construction or building materials.

Existing relationships or experience dealing with Tier 1, 2, and 3 builders.

Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence decision-makers.

A proactive and self-driven approach with excellent communication skills.

Confidence reading plans/specs and working on large-scale projects.

A desire to grow within a business that values development and success.

SALARY & BENEFITS

BASE $100,000 - $130,000 | Super 11.5% | Car | Commissions
