Reporting to the Director, we are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead our estimating team, drive strategic pricing, and contribute to the success of Victoria’s most innovative landscape projects.

The Role:

Lead and mentor the estimating team, ensuring top-tier accuracy and efficiency in all tenders.

Develop winning tenders for major landscape and civil construction projects, including earthworks, irrigation, drainage, electrical, hardscapes, landscape structures and concreting.

Ensure precision in pricing and project estimates, cross-checking all submissions to optimize profitability and eliminate errors.

Analyse market trends and competitor pricing, ensuring AE remains at the forefront of the industry.

Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best value and quality for every project.

Collaborate with project managers, site teams, and leadership, ensuring seamless project handovers and successful execution.

Drive efficiency and innovation in estimating processes, leveraging cutting-edge tools like Planswift, CAD, and Microsoft Project.

What You Will Bring:

7+ years of experience in commercial landscape estimation and project management.

Proven expertise in pricing large-scale landscape and civil works (experience in estimating streetscapes, hardscapes, structures and steel fabrication experience highly regarded).

Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Advanced proficiency in estimating software, Microsoft Office, CAD, and scheduling tools.

Strategic mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and risk management.

A passion for sustainability and innovation in landscape construction.

Current driver’s licence and ability to travel across project sites.
