High Speed Engineering is seeking a Production Manager to manage our job workflows, supervise workshop staff, liaise with Customers and endorse/uphold the high standards (ISO and otherwise) expected by the Company.

Accountable to the Director, this role will entail:

Leading a small, diverse and highly skilled Team to achieve their production goals;

Organising the scheduling of jobs taking into account priority, material availability and staff capability.

Managing multiple priorities with a customer-service focus, including regularly liaising with Customers regarding job status and to maintain and improve Customer relations;

Managing production hours in accordance with Quote;

Provide assistance in RFQs;

Ensuring workshop operations and personnel efficiency is maximised; and

Ensuring continued implementation of, and adherence to Company policies and ISO Accreditation Standards (9001; 14001 & 45001).

The successful Candidate will have:

Proven experience in a manufacturing environment in a Leadership / Supervisory capacity;

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; organisational & time management skills & customer service skills;

The ability to problem solve and identify operational opportunities for improvement; and

People management skills including the ability to build, manage and motivate a Team & influence others to drive change (we are a small team, we value our employees so fit is very important).
