About the role

As the Production Manager for our aluminium window and door manufacturing operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of our market-leading products at our facility in Maddington, Western Australia. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the manufacturing process, from planning and scheduling to quality control and continuous improvement.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand and sales targets
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the production floor, including overseeing staff, equipment, and safety protocols
• Ensure that all products meet our stringent quality standards through regular inspections and testing
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality
• Collaborate with the wider team, including sales, procurement, and engineering, to align production with business objectives
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement
• Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous learning among the production team

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience in a production management role within the manufacturing industry, preferably in aluminium window and door production
• Strong technical understanding of production processes, equipment, and quality control measures
• Excellent planning, scheduling, and organisational skills to optimise workflow and meet deadlines
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field
