Embelton celebrates our 100th year of operation this year. This is an exciting time to be joining our national business as we continue our reputation for quality and service in the construction flooring industry.

Located in NSW, we currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Representative/Business Development Manager to deliver sales targets and goals for our Commercial Contracting division.

Your responsibilities will include:

Develop new growth opportunities within NSW (and in some cases Queensland) through market development with Builders, Specifiers and Developers (with a key focus on Tier 1 & 2 Builders).

Work with Incumbent and New Supplier partners, developing effective relationships to achieve favorable pricing, terms and specifications.

Maintain, grow and supervise the pipeline of opportunities in NSW.

Work with the Operations team and Site Supervisors in order to help provide accurate information for upcoming projects.

Increase market awareness of our Services and Products, along with associated services and capabilities.

Maintain effective relationships with all internal and external stakeholders on technical support, project status, warranty claims, that is required to deliver successful projects.

Other Business Development/Sales activity as required.

To be successful, you will ideally possess the following:

Ideally have Tier 1 construction experience and existing contacts/networks.

Have a background in either flooring, tiling, and/or other finishes trade experience.

Prior exposure and preferably hands-on sales experience with Tier 1/Tier 2 builders in Australia.

Solid understanding of the specification process within the building commercial construction industry.

Experience in delivering successful project outcomes.

Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
