We are a very busy, leading facial aesthetics clinic network looking for two medical prescribers for cosmetic injectable treatments, Hyalase, Rejuran and PRP treatments to work flexible hours from Tuesday to Saturday. Our clinics are based in QLD and WA. These positions are on a sub-contractor basis and are paid competitive industry rates per consultation (including the prescription).

The work entails:

You will be called via FaceTime to consult with the patient and liaise with the treating RN to provide prescriptions for treatments and in the rare case of an emergency.

Flexible hours Tuesday to Saturday with the occasional Sunday

Conduct thorough consultations to assess the patient needs via a video call, including BDD screening.

Complete patient prescriptions through the online software portal.

Provide expert advice regarding medications, treatments, and contraindications as needed to staff.

Order Schedule 4 medications for QLD & WA including:

Cosmetic Injectables

Hyalase

TLA Numbing Cream

Requirements:

Available for emergency adverse complications.

Ensure prescriptions are accurately completed immediately post the consultation and submitted via the clinic’s software system (including use of document templates).

Documenting consultations and orders appropriately.

Refer clients for diagnostic imaging, pathology services and refer to specialists and consultant physicians when necessary.

Provide patients with scripts for steroids, antibiotics and any treatment related medications.

Provide current insurance certificates.

You are responsible for tracking your prescriptions and creation of patient treatment notes.

Adhere to APHRA’s guidelines for telehealth consultations and best scripting practices.
