We are seeking a Casual Receptionist & Enquiries Coordinator to be the welcoming face of our plastic surgery practice, where you’ll guide patients through their journey with care and efficiency.

About the Role

In this casual role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients. You will manage front desk operations, handle enquiries, coordinate appointments, and provide essential support with medical billing processes. This position is ideal for someone with a background in medical reception, billing, or high-end customer service who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-centric environment.

Key Responsibilities

Greet patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism.

Handle phone calls and email enquiries, providing clear information on procedures and consultation bookings.

Process medical billing including handling Medicare claims, health fund submissions, and patient invoicing.

Assist patients with scheduling, deposits, payments, and pre- and post-operative care information.

Maintain accurate records and ensure patient confidentiality in line with medical industry standards.

Collaborate with the practice team to support smooth clinic operations.

About You

Experience in medical reception, billing, concierge, sales, or high-end customer service.

Familiarity with Medicare billing, private health insurance claims, and medical payment processing.

A friendly and professional demeanour with excellent communication skills.

Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.

A proactive approach with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with medical booking systems or CRM software is an asset.
