We are seeking Medical Practitioners to support nurse-led cosmetic injectable clinics across Queensland. In light of recent QLD Health regulatory changes, our doctors play a critical role in upholding medical standards, prescribing S4 medications, and ensuring full legal compliance within the clinic setting.

About the Role

You will:

Conduct face-to-face consultations with patients (initial and as required).

Prescribe Schedule 4 medications in line with QLD Health and AHPRA guidelines.

Oversee and support nurses delivering cosmetic injectables.

Take legal ownership of S4 drugs, including oversight of purchasing and storage.

Maintain and audit drug books and ensure documentation and processes meet regulatory requirements.

Provide ongoing clinical governance and compliance advice to clinic staff.

Requirements

Current AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner

Proven ability to prescribe and supervise in accordance with QLD legislation

Strong understanding (or willingness to be trained in) QLD Health’s updated regulations for nurse-led cosmetic clinics

Must have or be willing to obtain an ABN

Professional indemnity insurance (or willingness to obtain)
