About the Role:

Join the ANMF (SA Branch) as a Human Resources Advisor in a diverse and rewarding role supporting HR policy, recruitment, performance management, employee benefits, and more. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will be part of a caring, friendly team, promoting a positive and dynamic workplace culture while ensuring our HR programs align with our company values.

You will coordinate and assist with HR initiatives focused on wellbeing, recognition, and workforce satisfaction. To thrive in this role, you’ll need to be highly organised, approachable, service-oriented, and passionate about helping people succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

The Human Resources Advisor is a hands-on, proactive role, supporting key HR functions and ensuring they align with the organisation's needs and strategic goals, you will support key functions such as:

Managing end to end recruitment and facilitating the HR lifecycle processes, including coordinating recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, performance reviews, contract changes, and maintaining employee records

Providing timely, accurate HR advice to the Resources Manager to support Managers and employees on policies, contracts, performance management, and compliance

Responding to HR enquiries and requests

Ensuring compliance with employment legislation, reporting requirements, Employee Agreements and Award interpretation

Supporting the development of HR strategies focused on retention, development, employee engagement initiatives and employee benefits

About You:

We’re looking for a caring, friendly, and vibrant individual who brings:

A relevant HR qualification or demonstrated experience in a HR support role or related field

An understanding of employment governance, workplace relations, and interpreting Employee Agreements

Exceptional organisational skills with advanced verbal and written communication abilities.

Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service focus, with the ability to engage and build rapport with key stakeholders.

Flexible, adaptable, and willing to learn, with a passion for people and wellbeing.

Self-motivated, resilient, and solutions-focused, with a drive for continuous improvement.

Strong analytical skills and proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Employees must be willing to obtain a Department of Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check (WWCC).

The Human Resources Advisor position is offered as a permanent part-time position, classified in the ASO3 range in accordance with the ANMF (SA Branch) Employees Agreement. Flexible work arrangements and an attractive salary package is available for the right candidate and will be based on experience and skills.
