Seeking an HR Consultant with minimum 4 years’ experience in a HR Advisory role to join our boutique advisory team. As an HRC you’ll take on and grow a portfolio of clients, located Aus-wide and covering all industries and Awards. The role will suit someone who is highly organised with exceptional time and task management skills. Further, someone who is motivated by growth, building relationships and diverse work within the IR and HR space.

Currently a team of 8, Perth-based HR consultancy, Employii is set for another year of considerable growth. The HRC will hit the ground running to assist the team with our expanding client portfolio. With the current growth trajectory, there is potential for long term internal career progression.

The Position

Employment type: Permanent Part-time, 0.8 FTE (negotiable).

Salary: $90,000 - $105,000 total package + Super + Commissions

$90k - $95k base

Up to $7k annual incentives

Uncapped commission for eligible new clients

Hours: Standard office hours are 9am – 5pm (opportunity for flexible start/finish times between 7:30am – 6:30pm). Coverage Mon-Fri required.

Location: Mt Hawthorn Office + 1x WFH day / week

Start date: ASAP (we will wait for the relevant notice period for the right candidate - please do not let this stop you from applying).

Duties Include:

Provide HR, industrial relations and career strategy advice to clients (employers, employees, membership associations and others) both virtually and face-to-face. Including but not limited to advising on:

Recruitment and onboarding

Employee engagement, wellbeing and retention

Awards, Agreements, pay and entitlements

Contracts of employment and job descriptions

Policies and procedures

Performance development, career mapping and succession planning

Change management, organisational design, redeployment and redundancy

Rewards, recognition and employee benefits programs

Performance management and disciplinary investigations

Fair Work and State industrial relations regulations and bodies

HR information systems and online platforms

HR risks and mitigation strategies

Coordinate the service delivery for clients within your portfolio, delegating and engaging the different members of the Employii team and external stakeholders as required, to ensure timely, accurate and person-centred services, and an efficient allocation Employii’ s resources.

Fostering strong client relationships based on trust, quality service and an in-depth understanding of their vision, values and business needs.

Support the Director and other HR Consultants as required with their portfolios (one team approach).

Contribute to a continuous feedback culture and commitment to learning.

Assist in business development activities and onboarding of new clients as required.

Develop, support and/or facilitate HR-based training and workshops, including online and face to face training, online courses, employer workshops and career based workshops (High School, TAFE & University).

To pro-actively demonstrate and promote physical and psychological safety within the workplace – whether it be at Employii or with respect to our clients

Keep a finger on the pulse of the latest industrial relations and industry changes, news and key events.

Selection Criteria

ESSENTIAL

Values-alignment

Minimum 4 years’ experience in an advisory-type HR role

Minimum 2 years' experience in industrial relations, dealing directly with Award interpretation.

Experience managing multiple client portfolios, including case management of performance and disciplinary matters.

Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills, with demonstrated experience in communicating with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Exceptional attention to detail, time-management and administrative skills.

Excellent computer skills with sound knowledge of Microsoft applications (e.g., Word and Excel).

DESIRABLE

Experience in a consulting role.

Experience with Fair Work proceedings.

Experience with HRIS platforms.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REGISTRATIONS

Tertiary qualification in HR, IR, organisational psychology or management.

Satisfactory National police Clearance obtained within the last 3 months, or the willingness to obtain upon appointment.
