Sole Chef / Chef Manager Wanted!

We’re looking for a passionate, reliable chef to lead the kitchen at a busy education site in Brisbane.

This full-time role is hands-on and perfect for someone who loves fresh food, good teamwork, and getting the job done right. You’ll run the kitchen and manage a small team (about six staff) while keeping the food and service top-notch.

What You’ll Be Doing

Running the Kitchen: Manage daily kitchen operations and front-of-house retail.

Cooking with the Team: You’ll be hands-on, not just supervising.

Keeping Standards High: Make sure food quality, presentation, and service stay excellent.

Using Fresh Ingredients: Work with seasonal produce and home-style menus.

Leading Your Team: Train, motivate, and keep the team working well together.

Staying Organized: Plan menus, manage stock, and stay on top of paperwork.

Following the Rules: Stick to health, safety, and allergy management requirements.
