The role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Account Executive who is keen to engage in a fast-paced role in the commercial and equipment finance industry.
Based on St Kilda Road, opposite the new ANZAC tram station. This is a permanent full-time position, working Monday to Friday (38 hours per week).
You will support a team of Commercial Finance Brokers and assist with the management of finance transactions from start to finish.
Although you will begin in an entry level role (all training will be provided), you will have the opportunity to learn about all areas in our business. The ideal candidate will quickly progress to become a crucial part of the organisation and have the option to focus on the area which they enjoy the most.
You will have the opportunity to learn about all aspects of commercial finance for businesses of all sizes across a wide range of industries.
Each employee is expected to take responsibility for their role while working closely with the rest of the team to provide seamless service to our clients.
Key responsibilities:
This is what the focus will be for the first year.
Record keeping and data entry:
Maintain and organise confidential files, databases and other records.
Input data into our CRM system and submit applications through the various financier portals.
Document generation:
Prepare finance documents and contracts for execution by clients and ensure all documentation prepared and submitted is compliant and accurate.
Generate reports from our CRM.
Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations and other documents.
Customer service:
Liaise with the brokers and key stakeholders (clients, financiers, suppliers, accountants etc.) to ensure all parties are kept up to date throughout the finance process and a “low fuss” approach is taken to complete settlement as efficiently as possible.
Respond to key stakeholder requests and enquiries in a prompt and professional manner.
We are looking for someone who has:

Good interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
A minimum of 1-2 years previous experience working in an office environment (does not need to be finance related).

Required:
Permitted to work permanently with no restriction on hours (e.g. citizen or permanent resident).
Police Check to be completed prior to commencing employment.
Salary $70k-$85k plus super based on experience
