The Impact You'll Make
We are seeking a results driven National Account Executive to join the team at our Pakenham head office. In this key role, you'll be responsible for driving sales growth and building long term relationships across the state and local government sectors.
You'll lead the full sales cycle from lead qualification and negotiation to closing, whilst working closely with our General Manager. An understanding of government procurement processes and the ability to deliver solutions in a complex sales cycle will be crucial to success.
Position Summary
Key Focus Areas
Drive revenue growth through effective planning and execution
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential government clients
Identify opportunities, develop plans and proposals, negotiate and close deals
Use CRM system to manage sales pipelines and ensure accurate reporting
Collaborate across teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes and satisfaction
Represent the business professionally in meetings, presentations and industry events
Contribute to our communicative and collaborative working environment
Generating reports as required, stay informed and provide feedback on industry trends and competitor activity
Uphold company core values and objectives
Skills & Experience Required:
Proven experience in a sales account management
Strong network across state and local government
Understanding of procurement cycles, funding and decision making in government
Understanding or experience in civil construction and the public sector, or associated industry would be an advantage
Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship building skills
Proficiency in IT, Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Team player, with a passion to succeed and strong initiative
Reliable, hardworking, honest and resourceful
Passionate, energetic and driven to achieve goals
Strong organisational, time and priority management skills
Analytical, logic, and problem solving skills
