About the company:

This company is an established and reputable Builder who have been around for 30+ years, delivering projects across the high-end residential, multi-residential, and government & social housing spaces throughout Melbourne.

Responsibilities:

Ultimately you will be responsible for the preparation of detailed cost estimates, specifications, bill of quantities and purchase orders for specialist disability accommodation projects.

• Preparing sales estimates and post contract variations
• Providing quotations and pricing support for the sales team
• Ensuring tasks are completed on time and accurately
• Checking documentation to ensure compliance with regulations and requirements
• Preparation and administration of project estimates and quotations ensuring accuracy and timeliness of completion
• Completing Estimating take-offs and creating an accurate Bill of Quantities
• Liaising with relevant suppliers to obtain quotes and raising purchase orders
• Liaise with Trades, suppliers, external consultants, customers and architects

Skills & experience:

• SDA/NDIS projects experience is highly regarded
• Experience with both production and sales estimating
• 5+ years' experience working for in the Residential/Domestic market
• Excellent time management & ability to prioritise key tasks
• Ability to read & interpret architectural drawings
• B2B pricing experience
• Thorough understanding of construction processes, structural complexity, techniques, terminology and costs
• Proficiency in working with Databuild and ClickHome
