About the role

PIZZA CHEF - DAYS ONLY - NO NIGHTS!

T'Gallant is seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Chef (Pizzaiolo) to join our team at our Vineyard T'Gallant. As a Pizza Chef, you will be dedicated to the art of pizza making and be a specialist in this field.

What you'll be doing

Demonstrated experience in pizza making including dough fermentation and stretching and condiments

Prepare and cook pizzas to order in a timely manner

Maintain a clean and organised work station, following strict hygiene and food safety protocols

Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and accommodating special requests

Support the kitchen staff in various duties as needed to ensure smooth daily operations

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Pizza Chef or Pizzaiolo, with a strong understanding of traditional pizza-making techniques (at least 3 years experience)

Excellent knife skills and attention to detail in food preparation

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Strong communication and customer service skills

Passion for using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients to create delicious, authentic pizzas

Food safety and hygiene certification
