About Us:

We been in the business of producing and providing activated carbon products, powdered, granular and pelletised. We also provide technical support services and Laboratory analytical services. We’ve been operating for over 20 years and distribute our products all around Australia and internationally. We’re looking for a proactive and experienced Factory Leading Hand to support our production team located in Henderson.

About the role:

You’ll be responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of plant and equipment, while directly supervising the production team and supporting the Production Manager with daily operations.

Maintain a safe and compliant work environment, championing safety at all times

Lead and support the production team with a team-first mindset

Work closely with the Production Manager to execute daily priorities and plans

Coordinate and support maintenance programs to reduce downtime

Ensure high product quality standards are met

Drive continuous improvement in health, safety, and production processes

Train and support employees

About you:

You have a solid understanding of fixed plant operations and general maintenance procedures

You’re a proven leader, who sets clear and positive examples for the team to ensure effective collaboration across all levels of the business

You can multitask, to keep production running smoothly and safely

Demonstrated high level communication skills, verbal and written

You have experience working in fast passed environments and to tight deadlines.

Desired skills:

Mechanical aptitude for routine maintenance

Moderate computer literacy
