Ballina West Medical Centre is a long-standing doctor-owned practice committed to delivering high-quality patient care. We are seeking a friendly, professional, and motivated Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team.

Requirements:

- Current AHPRA registration

- Current Working with Children clearance

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a registered nurse for a minimum of 3 days per week. Two days per week would be spent performing Chronic Disease Management Plans and Health Assessments for our patients. One day a week would be spent performing regular nursing duties. Role would also include relief work for our current EN during leave absences. We are seeking someone looking for long term employment.

The role involves, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

Immunisations

ECG

ABPI

Ear Syringing

Wound management

Health assessments

Triage

Chronic Disease Management Plans

Pre-employment medicals

Assisting with clinical procedures including excisions

Suture removal

Infection control

Sterilising

Patient reminders and recalls

Cold chain management

Stock management and ordering

Desirable Qualifications:

Experience in practice nursing is desirable; however, all levels of experience are welcome to apply as training will be provided.

Remuneration:

The successful applicant's remuneration will depend on qualifications and experience. We are also happy to look at increasing the hourly rate after 6 months' service for the right candidate.
