Hours: 9-5 Monday to Friday - 30 Hours a week on Casual bases

We're looking to expand our team with a proactive, professional, and compassionate Practice Nurse who is comfortable working in a dynamic environment.

Role Overview:
As a Practice Nurse at our clinic, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our patients. You will assist our GP with minor skin procedures, provide health assessments, and manage patient recalls, all while maintaining a high standard of care and professionalism. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and confident nurse with a passion for patient care, a strong initiative, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the GP with minor skin procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for patients.

Create personalized care plans for patients, ensuring they meet individual healthcare needs.

Conduct thorough health assessments and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Manage patient recalls, ensuring no patient is overlooked and follow-ups are timely and effective.

Develop strong, rapport-building relationships with patients, providing high-quality care with a patient-centered approach.

Exhibit a proactive and adaptable approach to work, ensuring the clinic runs smoothly and efficiently.

Stay up-to-date with best practices in nursing care and adhere to clinic protocols and policies.

Support the wider team with administrative tasks as needed to ensure efficient clinic operations.

Arrange for Care Plans, health assesments, Vaccinations, Blood collections, Iron infusions and all clinical services.

About You:

Registered Nurse with current APHRA registration.

Previous experience in a similar practice nurse or GP clinic role, preferably with experience assisting with minor skin procedures.

Excellent knowledge of Best Practice Software

Experience in preparing health assessments, and care Plans and mental health plans.

Experience in iron infusion and blood collection.

Experience in operating diagnostic devices such as ECG, ABPI, Spirometry.

Ability to work independently, using your initiative and demonstrating excellent time-management skills.

A confident and proactive attitude, with the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively with patients.

Strong communication skills, both with patients and the wider team.

Experience in a cosmetic nursing role is a bonus, though not a requirement.

High attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
