About the role

Tongarra Family Practice is seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join our dedicated team in Albion Park, NSW. This is a part-time role, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday- 8.30am to 5.30pm with the flexibility to cover holiday & sick leave when required. As a Practice Nurse, you'll play a crucial part in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the smooth operation of our family medical practice.

What you'll be doing

Assisting general practitioners with examinations, treatments, and procedures

Performing routine clinical tasks such as wound care, immunisations, and health screenings

Providing patient education and promoting preventative health measures

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records

Coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care

Adhering to all relevant clinical protocols, regulations, and practice policies

What we're looking for

Registered Nurse with a current AHPRA registration

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Practice Nurse or similar role in a primary care setting

Strong clinical skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and colleagues

Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care

Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems
