We are a boutique accounting, taxation and financial planning business based in Bendigo, with a second office in Queenscliff. We offer tailored financial planning solutions to existing and new clients. This part-time position will require you to provide administrative assistance within the Financial Planning Team, working closely with the Principal.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Planning Assistant to join the Financial Planning Team of Beattie Financial Services.

Training will be provided, however a background in financial planning, accounting & taxation, banking and finance or other related professional services will be of assistance in being selected for this role.

About the Role:

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to...

Provide administration support to the Financial Planning Team

Maintain client records on Xero and Xplan

Daily creation of client files for appointments

Daily processing of client financial planning correspondence, forms, and updates to Centrelink

Daily interaction with clients to complete forms and updates

Liaise with reception staff regarding client appointments and returning logged calls

About You:

Preferably work experience within a financial planning/insurance practice

Good oral and written skills

High attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent ability to multi-task

Good customer service skills

Neat dress standard as professional appearance required

Display initiative and work well within a team.
