The role

Reporting to the General Manager, this role will take charge of the daily management of our warehouse in Bendigo.

You will be responsible for managing the Warehouse including stock and freight movements. You will manage the warehouse team on a daily basis to drive productivity and meet outbound shipping KPIs. This role will closely work with the Management Team and will involve identifying opportunities for, and implementing, improvements within the warehousing environment. This role retains a hands-on element, with 30-40% of your time working on the floor, alongside the team in picking and dispatching orders.

Duties (included but not limited to)

Daily duties

· Collect and receipt manufactured stock into system

· Check incoming finished goods orders are complete and receipt stock into system (garments, books, imported yarns).

· Product replenishment (ensure picking area is fully stocked)

· Work on the picking line

· Arrange additional couriers when required

· Prepare postal reports/manifests

· Move returned goods back into warehouse

· Push orders from Greentree into .WMS

· Backorder release in Greentree

Weekly Duties

· Ensure warehouse area is clean, tidied and vacuumed before end of Friday shift

· Load and unload Trucks as required (stock transfers from WWM including associated paperwork & incoming raw materials)

Ad-hoc duties

· Ordering required supplies for warehouse eg tape & shrink wrap, despatch labels, toner/parts for warehouse printers, despatch bags, box board (pattern protection) forklift gas.

· Creating labels for incoming finished goods ie garments.

· Coordinating the making up of shade cards, ensuring we have enough strips to go with shade cards, tracking who has returned what for payment purposes.
