Job Summary:

This position is responsible for leading our warehousing, pick/pack, distribution, freight, and logistics operations. The Warehouse Manager ensures the efficient, safe, and best-practice management of the facility and may be required to perform a variety of jobs, tasks, or duties as needed. Experience with NetSuite is highly preferred.

What sets this role apart is the leadership style: this is not a desk-bound position. The manager is "one of the guys" — out on the floor, shoulder to shoulder with the team, helping to get orders out the door. Whether it's jumping in during peak times or troubleshooting on the spot, this leader leads by example and works alongside the team to keep operations running smoothly.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Warehouse associates

Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage full warehousing, pick/pack, distribution, freight & logistics operations.

Plans, directs and establishes priorities, and ensures safety aspects in all warehouse operations

Hands on leadership and mentorship, working daily in warehouse operations understanding process flow and supporting team growth and efficiencies.

Ensures inventory is accurately received, labeled, stored, pulled, staged, and shipped for proper tracking and location identification for inventory control.

Directly managing a team of up to 3 employees, managing and motivating warehouse personnel to achieve their goals.

Supports warehouse staff, when required including loading and unloading of shipments, working on the production line, or any activities as required to ensure team goals are met.

Maintain all commercial paperwork (commercial invoices, Export Declarations etc), and ensure the most cost-effective shipment of materials and equipment.

Assist in the development and implementation processes and procedures to align with the initiatives and goals set forth by the company.

Provides leadership and works with the group to identify, develop and implement best practices and a continuous improvement attitude and environment.

Maintain and enforce standards of health, safety, hygiene and security

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

5 years of supervisory, management and leadership experience in an industrial logistics, warehouse environment

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

Strong organization and prioritizing skills and ability to simultaneously perform multiple tasks.

The ability to make decisions, problem solve, and direct the workforce in an ever-changing, warehouse environment.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, good written and verbal communication skills, analytical ability, integrity, initiative, and excellent customer relationship skills.

Strong technical skills/aptitude: Proficiency in Microsoft 365 of programs, ERP System knowledge and experience required (NetSuite highly preferred).

Proven track record of process improvements

Proven track record in supervision, training, coaching, mentoring and managing warehouse employees including hiring, training, retaining and termination.

Operate forklift and scissors lift

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs, lift, bend, kneel, stand for long periods of time
