Our Position: As the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations within the warehouse. This includes inventory control, transport, shipping, dispatch and receiving, along with capable team leadership, safety protocols, and optimising warehouse processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. You will work closely with the procurement and production teams and other customer centric departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily operations of the warehouse’s, including inventory management, shipping, receiving, and order fulfilment.

Monitor transportation costs (inbound and outbound) and explore opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs. (e.g., transport, waste, storage)

Work closely with our key partners in manufacturing to optimise stock movements between our DC’s and our 3rd party warehouse provider.

Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management software (WMS) and stocktake processes across multiple sites.

Coordinate with other departments (e.g., production, procurement and sales teams) to ensure smooth order processing and timely deliveries.

Ensure the proper storage and handling of all goods to minimize damage and optimize space utilization.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to inventory discrepancies, shipping delays, or any other operational concerns.

Continuously evaluate and improve warehouse processes to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Lead, motivate, and manage warehouse staff to ensure high performance and team productivity.

Implement and enforce safety standards and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Support team needs, including training, performance evaluations, and scheduling.

About You:

Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar managerial role in a warehouse or distribution environment.

Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control techniques.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices and regulations.

Proven familiarity with Fishbowl Inventory Software would be an advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (365, Excel, Word, Outlook).

Forklift certification and experience.
