The role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic and supportive community healthcare team at My Playground Quality Care in the heart of Melbourne, VIC. This part-time role will see you providing high-quality nursing care and support to our diverse client base, helping to improve health outcomes and enhance quality of life.

What you'll be doing

Conducting comprehensive health assessments and developing individualised care plans for clients

Delivering a range of nursing interventions, including wound management, medication administration, and health education

Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless and coordinated client care

Maintaining accurate and detailed client records in line with organisational and regulatory requirements

Actively participating in team meetings and professional development activities

Supporting the implementation of quality improvement initiatives and best practices

What we're looking for

Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Demonstrated experience in a community nursing or primary healthcare setting

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering person-centred care

Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems and other relevant technology

A commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for making a difference in people's lives
