Registered Nurse (Community Nursing)

NURSE4U is a registered NDIS, Home Care Package, NIISQ, WorkSafe & DVA Service provider. We deliver a wide range of services and provide complex support across the Disability and Private Aged Care sectors in a range of settings including home care, residential, community and Specialist Disability Accommodation.

We are expanding our team and seeking experienced Registered Nurses to provide exceptional community nursing support to individuals with disabilities across the greater Brisbane region. This is a brand-new role within our Clinical Team, offering an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients.

You will be responsible for a wide range of duties including but not limited to:

• Continence assessments
• Catheter management
• Wound care management
• Bowel therapy management
• Medication management
• P.E.G. management
• Diabetes management
• Both clinical and non-clinical duties

Skills and Qualifications

• A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients and stakeholders.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate
• Blue Card and NDIS Screening/Yellow Card, or the ability to obtain.
• Valid drivers’ license and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
• Authority to work in Australia.
• Ability to work automatously.
• Excellent time management skills
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Experience working in community nursing.
