Our client, an innovative, agile, and progressive business operating in the western suburbs of Melbourne, are currently in search of a dedicated individual to take on the role of Production Manager.

This position will assume full responsibility for overseeing all production aspects of the branch, collaborating closely with various departments within the organisation. The primary focus of this role is to ensure the smooth and efficient operation process that lead to high-quality outcomes for valued customers, thereby contributing to the achievement of the company's key objectives.

Key Responsibilities will encompass (yet not be restricted to):

Leading and guiding the Production team to ensure unwavering adherence to established protocols.

Meticulously adhering to demanding production schedules.

Nurturing robust relationships among team members.

Motivating and inspiring team members to consistently surpass production targets.

Skilfully navigating conflicting priorities and timelines to achieve positive outcomes.

Collaborating harmoniously with fellow branches and group personnel, fostering a synergistic team environment.

Manage the production team, ensuring the achievement of targets, and fostering training, motivation, productivity, and compliance with local WHS guidelines.

Oversee operations for efficiency, striving for on-time completion to facilitate punctual deliveries meeting customer requirements.

Continuously monitor, enhance, and manage productivity and Labor costs.

Evaluate product quality against stringent quality assurance standards to uphold the highest levels of excellence.

Implement efficient and cost-effective production methods, prioritizing safety, and timely deliveries.

To excel in this role, candidates must bring forth the following experience and core competencies:

Extensive background in a production/manufacturing environment.

Significant tenure in managerial positions within manufacturing roles.

Proficiency in maintaining and performing minor repairs on manufacturing machinery and tools.

Demonstrated success in building and nurturing effective and cohesive teams.

Profound understanding of manufacturing processes.

Acquaintance with relevant Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) prerequisites and regulations.

Adeptness in motivating and leading teams.

Exceptional aptitude in time management and organisational proficiencies.

Proven ability to flexibly operate within tight timelines and varying workload dynamics.

Evidenced a capacity to flexibly adjust and confidently confront different situations and challenges proactively.
