Our client is a fast-growing, design-led jewellery brand with a passionate and loyal customer base. With a strong presence across eCommerce and retail, they are entering a new phase of growth and looking for a General Manager to lead the charge. This is a key leadership position where you’ll bring strategic planning, operational, and an empowering leadership style to a young, creative and evolving business.

Your Role Reporting to the Founder, this role is all about turning vision into action. You’ll take full responsibility for business performance, lead cross-functional teams, and implement scalable systems and strategies across all departments. You’ll work across retail, eCommerce, marketing, finance, people, and logistics—bringing a commercial mindset and strong leadership presence to everything you do.
You’ll also act as a sounding board and strategic partner to the Founder, ensuring the business stays customer-focused, commercially viable, and operationally sound as it grows both domestically and internationally.
You Will Be
- Planning strategy across retail and online channels
- Creating and implementing SOPs to improve consistency and efficiency across departments
- Mentoring and coaching team leaders
- Overseeing key functions like finance, marketing, inventory, customer service, and people operations
- Supporting the development and execution of strategic initiatives, including international expansion
- Managing supplier relationships, contracts, lease negotiations, and operational planning
- Introducing systems, tools, and processes to support scale and long-term sustainability
- Helping to build a high-performing, values-led culture
You bring:
- Experience in a GM, or Head of Operations role in a growing product-based business (fashion, retail, beauty, lifestyle, or similar)
- Strong commercial acumen, comfortable owning budgets, P&Ls, and revenue strategies
- A hands on, solutions focused approach with experience across eComm, retail, and operations
- High EQ and a leadership style that’s empowering, direct, and people-first
- Confidence in systems and process improvement (Shopify, ClickUp, inventory systems, etc.)
- A strong cultural impact
