About the Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager responsible for the operational service delivery of the facilities maintenance contract, and the optimisation of these services in their area of accountability and allocated portfolio. This role will see you based in Adelaide in a permanent fulltime position.

Key Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Lead and sustain a strong safety culture
• Inspire and manage the performance and development of the Service Delivery team in the delivery of exceptional customer service.
• Collaborate with contract support teams, specifically Asset management, Procurement & Subcontractor management, finance and Data & Systems, in the management and delivery of contract requirements to assigned portfolio and clients
• Drive excellence in customer service through achieving and exceeding contract delivery KPIs,
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders
• Develop and maintain detailed understanding of contract deliverables, client specific requirements and operational delivery model, driving opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement Identify and manage operational delivery risks to people, scope and finances. Raising issues in accordance with Contract management principles
• Undertake reasonable travel intrastate as required

Skills and Experience

• Qualification in Management, Project management, Engineering, or Business preferred
• Current drivers' licence
• Experience in application of project management and facilities management practices in hybrid workforce model of employees and subcontractors
• Relevant industry experience with specific knowledge of the environment for both Facilities Maintenance and Project Management (be it Health, Education, Justice or other government sectors as required for AGFMA)
• Demonstrated ability to create, manage and deliver budgets
• Demonstrated ability in leading and developing teams in a facilities management environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholder across a range of business and client relationships
