Having been set up just a few years ago, this funds management business is led by some of the highest profile leaders in the property space, boasting decades at the top of their industry. With a broad investment mandate backed by major institutional players, they are close to the launch of their first fund and plan to launch several more in the near future. At this pivotal moment in their short history they are moving to enhance their internal finance capabilities, with a new Head of Finance recently appointed, and are now seeking a Finance Manager.

Key duties in this role will include:

Oversight of all aspects of financial and management reporting for the group.

Directing external administrators on fund investments and day to day activities

Liaising with business partners to provide performance analysis and reports

Preparation of regular reports regarding the cash position, profit and loss, balance sheet and KPIs including the preparation of related management analysis

Working in the team to effectively manage, monitor and day to day aspects of preparing the Group’s timely financial reports

Assisting with relevant compliance activities in conjunction with an external Big 4 firm

Gain an understanding of the investment structures of new deals from a commercial, legal, tax and accounting point of view

Undertake various ad hoc projects as required to support the wider business

Process and system improvements

You will be CA/CPA qualified with 7+ years relevant experience; either making your first move from an Audit/Business Services firm, be a Senior Accountant looking to step up, or be a current Finance Manager looking for a role where you can make more of an impact.

This is a fast growing company so they are looking for an individual with a hands-on approach, ability to look ahead to future proof a finance function, ability to engage directly with executives, and the desire to come on the journey with them.
