The Role
As the General Manager of Sales, you’ll report to the Chief Commercial Officer and take full ownership of the company’s global sales function—leading teams, executing strategy, and driving performance across ANZ, the US, and emerging markets.
You will be responsible for delivering revenue growth through established and new distributor channels, shaping market expansion plans, and executing a change strategy developed in partnership with external consultants.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Strategic Planning - Shape commercial strategy, market expansion plans, and brand/channel development initiatives.
- Change Leadership - Act as a change leader, championing new systems, structures, and processes that support evolving business needs.
- Sales Leadership - Lead and manage all distributor sales and non-transactional partner development across Australia, the US, and other international markets.
- Team Management - Lead and develop a geographically distributed sales and service team.
- Commercial Operations - Oversee internal sales enablement, customer service, and project scheduling to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Sales Growth - Driving sales performance across ANZ, the US, and international markets
- Driving Market Expansion - Managing and expanding distributor and partner networks
- Cross Collaboration - Collaborating cross-functionally with operations, finance, product, and marketing
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience in a senior sales or commercial leadership role
- Experience managing international sales channels and/or distributor relationships
- Proven commercial acumen with a data-driven, results-focused approach
- Process driven with good people management skills
- Strong strategic planning and change management capability
- Experience in design-led, product-focused, or manufacturing environments
- Understanding of multi-brand strategy and brand positioning across premium and mainstream segments
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
