Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronic Security & IT Data Network Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating accurate and competitive estimates, quotations and presentations for electronic security systems, IT data networks, and related projects. You will collaborate with sales, engineering, and project management teams to ensure estimates meet client requirements and align with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyse project specifications, blueprints, and technical documents to determine project scope and requirements.

Prepare detailed cost estimates for electronic security systems (CCTV, access control, intrusion detection) and IT data networks.

Identify material, labour, and equipment requirements, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.

Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing for materials and services.

Work closely with the sales team to prepare proposals and respond to RFPs.

Conduct site visits as needed to gather information and assess project feasibility.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, products, and technologies.

Ensure estimates comply with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications.

Provide technical expertise to support project planning and execution.

Track and analyse project performance to refine future estimates.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an estimator in electronic security systems, IT data networks, or a similar field.

Strong knowledge of security systems (CCTV, access control, intrusion detection) and IT infrastructure.

Proficiency in estimation software and tools.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

Australian Drivers licence

Australian Citizenship with a Victorian Private Security Registration or eligibility to obtain one.

National Police Check.
