As a Sales/Construction Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our business's success. You will produce all cost estimates to support and manage construction costs, ensuring a high-level custom focus and profit retention. We are looking for passionate individuals to fill a key position within our sales and construction estimating departments. Your responsibilities will include:

Sales estimating from pre-sales, quote, and through to building variations.

Analysing plans and documentation to prepare time, cost, material and labour estimates.

Work with design & drafting to ensure efficient costings.

Take the lead in preparing meticulous and detailed cost estimates and comprehensive project budgets that ensure financial clarity and accuracy.

Conduct thorough quantity take-offs, meticulously analysing project specifications to capture every detail and requirement.

Collaborate closely with project managers and construction teams to ensure our bids are competitive and reflect the highest quality standards.

Obtaining quotes for new jobs.

Ensuring deadlines are met as per forecasting.

Produce purchase orders for suppliers and contractors

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills enable you to connect with clients and colleagues.

Proven experience in sales or construction estimation, with a strong understanding of the industry and its dynamics.

An eye for detail and excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities that allow you to navigate complex challenges easily.

The ability to work autonomously while thriving in a collaborative team environment.

Proficiency in construction software and tools such as Databuild or Beams is a strong plus that enhances your candidacy.

Knowledge of OHS requirements, building regulations, residential codes, and construction processes.

Analytical with high numerical ability.

Strong computer skills to accurately managing estimates, documentation, and project tracking.

Well-developed communication and verbal skills.
