EXOLUX is a fast-growing product company on a mission to revolutionise outdoor living. We design and manufacture innovative decking solutions – including our flagship patented modular aluminium decking frame system, www.clickdeck.com.au

We provide complete decking material packages to customers across Australia, supporting them with project layout designs, custom material take-offs, and tailored quotes. Our clients include architects, builders, and DIYers working on both residential and commercial projects.

About the Role

We’re on the lookout for a motivated, technically-minded individual who’s ready to grow their career in a dynamic role that blends design, estimating, and internal sales.

This is not just another desk job. You’ll play a key part in shaping projects from the ground up while learning, growing, and getting rewarded for your results.

Based in our Melbourne office (Ferntree Gully)

Your Day-to-Day Might Look Like:

Design & Estimating

Use CAD software (SketchUp) to design deck framing layouts (Joist, Bearer and deck supports)

Interpret construction plans and produce accurate bills of materials

Prepare and deliver take-offs and quotes for our modular decking frame system

If you’ve got experience in specific CAD programs, please include it in your resume or cover letter — we’d love to know!

Internal Sales & Customer Engagement

Work directly with customers via phone, email, and in-person to understand their needs and propose tailored solutions

Respond to incoming technical enquiries and provide expert advice

Proactively follow up with leads and customers to drive new business

Support commercial tenders, input data into our CRM, and handle basic invoicing (Xero)

What We’re Looking For

Strong communicator – You’ll be confidently engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and guiding them through design changes and product options.

Tech savvy – Experience using CAD software (like SketchUp) and Microsoft Excel daily. Confidence with computers and data entry is essential.

Technically Minded - Having the abilty to understand how connection details and joist spans work (Training provided)

Multi-tasker – You’ll be juggling several projects and responsibilities at once: from estimating to technical support and sales follow-ups.

Team player – We’re a close-knit bunch who support each other, share a few laughs, and work together to smash team goals.

Lifelong learner – You love picking up new skills and pushing your career forward.

Industry experience – Background in construction, technical sales, drafting, architecture, or a similar design field is a big plus .
