The Respiratory and Sleep Medicine Unit delivers world-leading clinical care, research, and training in respiratory disease and sleep disorders. The team are dedicated to improving the health of people living with respiratory disease by supporting the development of innovative new diagnostic tests and treatments.
Your New Role:
- Part Time Fixed term position - long service leave coverage, opportunity to transition to ongoing role
- 48 hours per fortnight
- Collaborate with respiratory physicians and scientists to conduct sponsored and investigator-led studies focused on respiratory disease.
- Recruit and manage trial participants, ensuring adherence to protocols.
- Organise and coordinate participant visits, including clinical specimen collections as required.
- Record clinical data and keep subject databases updated.
- Preparing Ethics applications and submissions.
- Provide education to the MDT, patients and their families related to specific research methods and protocols.
About you:
- You are an AHPRA registered Nurse with Registered Nurse Division 1 (RN Div 1) qualification.
- You are driven by a desire to support high quality research to optimise patient outcomes.
- You have effective communication and organisation skills and a passion for continued professional development.
- You enjoy working effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience with clinical trials and GCP certification is desirable but not essential.
