The Opportunity

We’re seeking an experienced and capable Practice Manager to take the reins of our large Sunshine Coast clinic. This is a key leadership role with the autonomy to shape day-to-day operations and contribute to long-term strategy—within a team that truly values your input.

You’ll be leading our administrative arm, supported by an Admin Supervisor (2IC) and a warm, capable reception team. This structure allows you to stay focused on high-level leadership, service delivery, and system improvement, while day-to-day reception is well managed beneath you.

Key Responsibilities

As our Practice Manager, you’ll lead the day-to-day operations of our Sunshine Coast clinic, supported by an Admin Supervisor and Reception team. You’ll work closely with the Clinic Directors to drive service excellence, team culture, and continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities will include:

Overseeing daily business operations, systems, and team workflow

Collaborating with Directors to develop and implement annual operational plans

Leading administrative recruitment, onboarding, and performance reviews

Managing change processes and supporting clinic expansion

Ensuring compliance with Medicare, HR policies, and quality standards

Supporting financial tasks including service contracts and budget input

Driving improvements in client experience, service delivery, and reporting

Mentoring admin staff, coordinating training, and fostering team wellbeing

Monitoring KPIs and contributing to strategic planning and growth initiatives

This is a hands-on leadership role that balances strategic planning with people management—ideal for someone confident managing a large, friendly, family-owned clinic with a strong reputation for clinical care.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a capable and experienced Practice Manager who can confidently lead a busy, well-established clinic.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Minimum 3 years' experience in practice or administration management within a medical or allied health environment

Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance, and maintain high operational standards

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, delegate, and problem-solve in a fast-paced setting

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—clear, direct, and professional

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 and familiarity with practice management systems

Strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency
