The Role

We're looking for a Practice Manager with the unique skillset that is required to oversee our recently renovated, modern general practice clinic.

Our two GP owners practice clinically from the site and are committed to a professional and supportive work environment. The ideal applicant will be able to collaborate with the owners regarding the strategic direction and financial success of the business.

Our Practice

• Westside Medical Centre is a GP-owned practice situated in the health and medical precinct of Port Macquarie on the beautiful NSW Mid North Coast.
• We are proud to provide high quality, comprehensive primary care medical services to a well-established cohort of patients.
• The practice has a strong teaching focus, employing GP Registrars and hosting medical student placements.
• Our practice has grown steadily since its foundation in 2010. The successful applicant will be responsible for leading our team of 8 administrative staff and 5 nurses. The practice provides services to 16 specialist GPs and employs 2 GP registrars.
• The practice is open 8am-5.30pm Monday to Friday.
• We host on-site pathology, visiting allied health and visiting medical specialists.
• We use Best Practice, HotDoc, Microsoft Office, Cubiko and Xero software

Essential Criteria

• Previous experience in GP Practice Management
• Proficient use of Best Practice and Microsoft Office software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead a team with a supportive and collaborative approach

Desirable Criteria

• Formal qualifications in practice management
• Experience using HotDoc, Cubiko and Xero software
