Our client is a global technology solutions business who are leading the mergers & acquisition sector. They have ambitious growth plans and have added an additional headcount for an Account Executive to target the mid-market sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Full sales cycle; prospecting to close & account management
  • Business development; generating & qualifying leads, developing call cycles
  • Develop channel & referral partnerships
  • Book meetings, run discovery sessions & software demonstrations
  • Attend industry events to promote business & generate leads
  • Follow up on leads, objection handle and close out deals
  • Identify opportunities to up and cross-sell features
  • Maintain healthy sales pipeline of current and future business
  • Inbound; respond to incoming interest from partners & prospects

Requirements:

  • Proven commercial business development experience
  • SaaS sales experience
  • Fin-tech industry experience (highly desirable)
  • Experience across the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
  • Experience with business development tools

Non-technical requirements:

  • Proactive sales mentality, you aren't afraid of BD/outbound sales
  • Methodical & strategic BD/sales approach
  • Strong understanding of how to run an efficient sales process
  • Focused on long term relationships
  • Understand what needs to be done based on pipeline status
  • Customer-focused approach
