About the Role / Junior Account Executive (Sydney, Australia)
This presents an outstanding opportunity for a driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to advance into a Junior Account Executive role in Sydney, Australia. It's a small team so you'll be getting your hands dirty, with huge growth expected in Austrlia.
With a mix or direct and channel sales, you'll get exposure into multiple sides of the sales process and given a handful of accounts to managene whcih will go straight toward your yearly revenue target
The position will see them expand their presence within the Australian mid-market and build strong relationships with both end-users and partners. This role offers significant earning potential within a global cybersecurity leader, representing an ideal step up for a motivated SDR to move into a growing and expanding team.
In this impactful role, they will:
- Grow the partner ecosystem within their territory.
- Identify, qualify, and build relationships with key mid-size enterprise clients.
- Collaborate with partners to close qualified leads and drive platform adoption.
- Deliver compelling value propositions and engaging sales presentations.
- Partner with technical teams for successful product demos and PoCs.
- Contribute to accurate sales forecasting and strive to exceed targets.
- Participate in industry events and partner training to promote solutions.
- Collaborate with marketing on impactful campaigns and case studies.
- Manage and grow existing business, identifying upselling opportunities.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans for ambitious growth.
About the Ideal Candidate
Our client is seeking an individual who:
- 2-3 years of SDR or Sales experience, with consistent achievement of targets
- Has a proven sales or business development background, ideally in SaaS, Preferably Cyber.
- Shows strong interest in cybersecurity and a desire for deeper understanding.
- Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is a proactive self-starter with a strong drive to achieve results.
- Is proficient with CRM and productivity tools (e.g., Salesforce, MS Office).
Bonus points for:
- Prior experience selling software, particularly in cybersecurity.
- Familiarity with MDR, SIEM, EPP, EDR, or XDR solutions.
