About the role

Are you an experienced Chef looking to join a thriving local café in Southport, Queensland? Simple Coffee House is seeking a talented and passionate full-time Chef to join our team and help us continue to deliver an awesome experience to our customers.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and cooking a wide variety of dishes for our café menu

Maintaining the highest standards of food preparation, presentation and hygiene

Collaborating with the mangement team to develop new and creative menu items

Ensuring efficient stock control and ordering of ingredients

Providing mentorship and guidance to junior kitchen staff

Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Chef in a café, restaurant or similar hospitality setting

Formal culinary training or qualification (e.g. Certificate III in Commercial Cookery)

Demonstrated experience in creating and preparing high-quality, fresh and seasonal dishes

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to food safety and hygiene

Excellent time management and organisational skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic kitchen environment

Passion for using locally-sourced and sustainable ingredients
